New Financial Controller Appointed

From 1st September 2026, Patrick McCartney has assumed the role of financial controller. He replaces Laura Cooper who decided to retire to devote more time to her family, travel and other projects. Scottish Bridge has been well served by Laura who was in the post for over two years. Her knowledge, dedication and calm demeanour were invaluable. Despite having no bridge background, her thoughtful and common-sense attitude were assets during the meetings of both the Finance Committee and the Operations Management Team
