A new season-long challenge.

This is a new season-long challenge introduced for the 2025/26 season, beginning with the Stirling Pairs and running across a range of national events throughout the year.

Players compete within their Gold, Silver or Bronze category, earning points based on their finishing position at each qualifying event. First place receives 10 points, second receives 9, third receives 8, continuing down to 1 point for tenth place. Rankings accumulate across the season, with live standings published after each competition weekend so players can track their progress.

• Winter Swiss Teams

The overall winner in each category will receive a complimentary trip to the 2026 Scottish National Congress in Aviemore, including three nights’ accommodation in the host hotel and free bridge entry.

Player categories are determined by ranking as of 1 September and remain fixed for the full season. This is an individual competition, meaning your partner’s or teammates’ ranking does not affect your eligibility or points.

In the event of a tie for first place, the player who has competed in fewer events will qualify for the prize. If tied players have competed together throughout the season, the prize remains unchanged and can be shared or arranged between them independently.
