Rayne Cup

National Multiple Teams of Four. The fourth national competition run by the SBU was a "teams of four". This was donated by Edward Rayne after he won the teams at both Scottish Congresses in 1948. It was originally a knockout aggregate team's event, differentiated from the Scottish Cup by the fact that it was a Pivot Teams, where the team captain played one-third of the boards with each team-mate.
