Scotsman National Pairs Trophy

The Scotsman Cup. The third major event in the Scottish Bridge Union calendar dates from 1946. The Scotsman newspaper announced on 10 October 1945, "The Scottish Bridge Union has this year instituted a Scottish National Pairs Championship, for which 'The Scotsman' has presented a Cup for annual competition".
