Race to Aviemore Winners

The Race to Aviemore has now concluded. The winners will have free accommodation for three nights at the Scottish National Congress at Aviemore as well as no bridge fee. Congratulations to the three winners, Steven Funai in the Bronze category and Michael Huebeck in the Silver category both of whom had comfortable margins over the runner up. The Gold section was much tighter with Iain Sime prevailing. It was all to play for at the Arthur Trophy, but no one could gain the necessary points to overtake Iain. All the more impressive as Iain was unable to play in the Arthur as he was otherwise engaged winning the Scottish Cup.
