Men’s Pairs / Women’s Pairs / Men’s Teams / Women’s Team all in one day for Buchanan Cup / Cyril Breene Trophy / Benny Dexter Trophy / Glasgow Bulletin trophy and Beatrice Craig Cup for runners up.
The Pairs events will start at noon and be in Swiss format, probably 6 rounds of 4 boards but depends on numbers.
The Teams events will start around 16:00 and hopefully enough for a Swiss of about 24 boards. If insufficient numbers it will be a Round Robin.
Entry fee is £10 each for each event, so £20 per Pair, £40 per Team.
There are 10 red points for the Pairs winners assuming 26 Pairs, pro -rata otherwise and awards to the top quarter.
10 red points to the winners of the Teams assuming 20 Teams, pro -rata otherwise and awards to the top quarter.
0.25 for each match won and 0.13 for a draw.
